About Us
Hey, my name is Gary and I'm the founder of Cubic Accountants.
In my spare time, I love cycling and watching football (Arsenal is my team, I love a bit of pain!)
We are based in Bracknell which is in the heart of the Thames Valley, but we also have clients outside of this region.
I qualified as an accountant in 2006 whilst I held the position of client manager in a local accountancy practice. I then created Cubic Accountants and started trading back in 2008
This was around the time of the last recession and one of our aims was to help businesses through the unsettled period. We’ve since come out on the other end but still endeavour to help businesses out however we can.
In fact, at Cubic Accountants our vision is to ensure that all clients pay the least amount of tax as they legally can, using our 20 years of experience in the accounting and tax industry, changing clients lives for the better.
I believe that you should meet up with your accountant at least once a quarter to sort out issues when they arise as opposed to after the year has finished, at this point, you may not be able to do anything about it and there is the possibility that this may have tax consequences.
We work on fixed fees as I don’t believe the time-based billing (hourly) is the way to go with offering our services when you have an accountant you look to get help from them at the right time not to buy chunks of time from them.
We offer all clients unlimited telephone, email and meeting support to help them get the best advice when they need it not when it is too late.
We have taken on many clients in all kinds of sectors and of all sizes, our current portfolio includes;
Our current clients have mentioned that they really value our business growth programme which includes cash flow forecasts, strategic management reporting, business tax planning as well as private client tax planning to help individuals and businesses pay the least amount of tax.
Since I started Cubic Accountants, we have seen many changes from online filing for tax returns (both business and personal), filing VAT returns online, real-time payroll submissions, and the workplace pension rules which we have embraced. Part of our job is to keep our clients up to date on the latest changes that will affect them and prepare them when necessary.
We are about to see the biggest change of all when the tax system goes digital starting on April 1st 2019, we’re ready to embrace the future and guide our clients through this.
I’d love to chat with you about your accountancy needs, feel free to reach out to me for a consultation.
